This new design started off as a simple "what if?"conversation. Less than a week later Russ Unger and his team had me up and running. Excellent support, fast work, and worth every damned cent.

Check out "The Audrey Green Chronicles" a trilogy involving a mysterious jazz piano chord, and they way we are all connected.

Ace shooter, staunch relief driver, master bartender. My partner in crime for all three books. He has been commissioned by everyone from Brittney Spears to Billy Corgan, from the Wall Street Journal to Parade Magazine. Great guy who is always good for bail money. Plus, he always seems to have hot chicks hanging on him.

Junior Doughty's one-man, one-car crusade to document the culture of the Mississippi Delta. Recipes, juke joint stories and much more. If you ever wanted to know how to make a cathead biscuit, or the proper way to roast a pig, this is the place. Highly recommended and extremely cool.

Pretty much the finest radio station in the Western hemisphere. Listen online, or move to Santa Monica, it's up to you. Be sure to check out Chocolate City, and Metropolis evenings, and Morning Becomes Eclectic early.

Ever have a waiter, or a store clerk, a customer service moron give you a hard time. Rude Universe is the one stop shop for trashing people who shouldn't be serving people. As they say, if we stop shopping there...

The entire reason I ever picked up a guitar. Tablature to pretty much everything, and way cooler than the official site. Roll another number, and stay a while.

The best example of a fan site I have ever seen. Plenty of tabs, info on alternate tunings, even a dating service for Joni fans. Also features the fantastic tabs of Howard Wright, the DanFan's favourite Limey.

A developing resource from St Louis journalist Emily Priddy, highlight the coolest crashes on the Mother Road. As an aside Emily is also a neon artist, who is restoring many of these classic signs on her dime. Visit, tell her Timmy sent you.

Take a map of Route 66. Now spend years driving the Mother Road collecting postmarks on it from every single town on the route, as well as autographs from some of the most famous people associated with it. Now make exactly 2448 prints of it (one for every mile of Route 66), then destroy the plate. An incredibly cool art project, an incredibly cool guy.

Covering all aspects of historic American highways, this new quarterly is published by author Tom Repp, and edited by Steinbeck Award-winning writer and historian Jim Ross.
